Our range of card handles have been designed to be used in a wide range of applications where a conventional front panel is not being used, but where the card requires identification or the extraction force for the card requires some sort of gripping device to avoid damage to parts on the card or PCB. The handles are supplied with the necessary fixings and in packes of 10 unless otherwise stated.

Handle Mounting Detail.

Card Handles Type A:

Thes card handles are attached to the PCV by means of M3 screws or rivetts and provide a recess for the inclusion of a label and cover. These are available seperately.

This series differ from type in the method of fixing, and has a clip on feature. the pcb - up to 1.6mm thick, requires to have a 2.6mm hole drilled in the appropriate position. Please see thye detail drawing for the position of this fixing hole.

This series of handles are designed to minimise the use of space on the front of the card and are attached by a clip on feature. The front of the handle is designed flat and can be easily marked for identification purposes.

Card Handles Type D:

These Handles are made from a transparent makrolon material so that an identification label can be placed in the handle for viewing from the front. the handles are supplied with fixing screws.

Card Handles Type E:

By bowing out from the board, when pulled, this handle enables a positive grip for card extraction. When not in use the handle projects forward from the board edge less than 2,5 mm, making these handles fully compatible with the requirements of DIN 41494 / IEC 297. The front surface of the handle is flat and provides ample space for card identification.
