Our range of moulded and metal enclosures are elegant and stylish ways of housing hand-held, desktop and portable equipment and instrumentation. Available in many different sizes and designs, the comprehensive range will house PCBs ranging in size from 35 x 50mm to 233 x 240mm, with several different types configured around the standard 160 x 100mm Eurocard size. The main families are described below.
VERONEX Available in IP54, handheld and instrument versions, VERONEX is available in four plan sizes and nine different heights, is fitted with removable end panels and is available with and without battery compartments; some versions are supplied with a membrane keyboard recess and display cutout. Supported by accessories such as ventilated panels, belt clips, polycarbonate display covers, battery boxes, battery holders and self-adhesive feet, VERONEX is a particularly versatile housing for hand-held and small desktop instruments.

Vero Technologies has introduced a new size of its popular and stylish Veronex hand-held case family, sized to accept today's industry Character and Dot Matrix standard display modules. The maximum viewable width of the display is 70mm with an 82.5mm PCB, enabling the great majority of units from the leading manufacturers to be housed. The new hand-held unit measures 150 x 90 x 30 mm; the top cover is furnished with a recessed area to accept a 70 x 137 mm membrane keypad.
Two plastic end panels, held in place without fixings when the unit is assembled, provide I/O facilities at each end of the enclosure. The internal fixing pillars are placed as far outboard as possible to give maximum width end panels so accommodate a large number of I/O connectors.
Veronex is moulded in UL94V-0 rated flame retardant ABS; the family consists of more than 40 versions of three ranges, IP54 sealed, hand-held and instrument cases, dedicated to applications ranging from desk-top instrumentation to machine control on the shop floor.
A rapid turn-round customisation service gives a cost effective solution on short lead times. The service offers machining of both the enclosure and/or the end panels plus silk screening to customer requirements; AutoCAD .dxf files can be downloaded from
Patina cases The Patina range of plastic enclosures was launched in response to an increased demand for aesthetically pleasing and technically competent electronic packaging solutions for office or industrial applications, computer peripherals or test instrumentation. Available in twelve sizes, Patina will house PCBs in both the vertical and horizontal planes and is fitted with anodised aluminium front and rear panels. Four plan sizes are available; the largest will mount a single Eurocard horizontally. An attractive textured finish resists wear during use.

IBX The IBX range of instrument cases is an extremely elegant design, available in four heights, with a choice of three different front panel styles and an optional carry handle for portable applications. Vertical and horizontal PCB guides are moulded into the enclosure; 6U 160 or 220mm Eurocards directly mount horizontally into the unit.

IDAS cases The soft rounded style of the IDAS case provides a modern unobtrusive housing for desktop and portable applications. Available in three heights and with or without a carry handle and two alternative positions for the aluminium front panel, the robust units are suitable for a many different types of equipment.
